GIFT Campaign Report
(
1 April 2022 – 31 June 2022)

The GIFT (Giving in Faith and Thankfulness) campaign was launched in Advent 2016 to support the archdiocese’s vision of a more vibrant, evangelising and missionary Church. This quarterly report updates on the campaign’s progress.

In the most recent quarter (April to June 2022), total GIFT collections were approximately $2.8 million, which is a slight drop compared to the $2.9 million collected in Quarter 1 of 2022. The decrease in contributions is primarily due to a drop in the number of ad hoc contributions and to the restricted funds.

In comparison to Quarter 1, contributions through parishes have increased by approximately $300,000 due to the easing of Safe Management Measures beginning at the end of March. Contributions from pledges (about $1.17 million) experienced a small dip at the end of the quarter.

As always, we are grateful for the support of each of our contributors, regardless of the amount they give.
The Foundation hopes that in light of the ongoing Synodal discernment process along with the fruits of the inaugural Archdiocesan Assembly, we as a Church may come together to support the building of the Church in line with the pastoral plan that is to be formulated by the upcoming Archdiocesan Pastoral Council.

We appeal to every Catholic to give regularly through a monthly GIFT pledge. A regular pledge for the needs of the Archdiocese will go a long way in ensuring that the needs of the Church will always be met.

Each of us is called by God to be good stewards of our time, talents, and treasures. Please pray and discern how you can steward your blessings for the needs of our Archdiocese.
