Catholic Foundation Stewardship Report 2024 (1 April 2023 - 31 March 2024)

The Giving in Faith and Thankfulness (GIFT) programme is Catholic Foundation’s rallying call to the faithful to respond to God’s love by supporting the Archdiocese. In FY2024, funds raised through the GIFT programme amounted to nearly $21 million, allowing the Foundation to allocate resources for the needs of the Archdiocese.


Our Organisation


Catholic Foundation is the fundraising arm of the Archdiocese of Singapore, supporting approved initiatives of the Archbishop that are aligned to the vision of the Archdiocese to build a vibrant, evangelising and missionary Church.


Mission

To promote Christian giving and provide stewardship for funds raised to support the needs of the Catholic Archdiocese of Singapore.


Vision

The Foundation inspires Catholics to prayerfully consider their stewardship responsibility to commit their time, talent and treasures to help build a vibrant, evangelising and missionary Church in Singapore.

The Archdiocesan Commission for Catholic Schools (ACCS) supports Catholic schools in their mission of educating children in addition to developing moral and spiritual values by the Gospel, and civic values.



The Catholic Leadership Centre (CLC) ignites the hearts of lay Catholic leaders and nurtures them with the necessary formation and skills to serve the role as catalysts to those under their care.





The Catholic Theological Institute of Singapore (CTIS) provides systematic faith formation in Catholic theology for seminarians and laity, in faithfulness to Holy Scripture and the Magisterium of the Catholic Church.




The Digital Church Office (DCO) spearheads the transition of the Church into the digital age; leveraging new technology to connect the faithful, priests and Church entities to forge deep and personal connections with each other as One Church.




The Office for Catechesis (OFC) develops catechetical curriculum, policy and training guidelines for parishes and those involved in catechesis, and conducts research on catechetical theory and pedagogy.



The Office for the New Evangelisation (ONE) catalyses the New Evangelisation by advocating a change in mindset, aligning the different organisations and providing resources and formation to envisage the pastoral vision.



The Office for Young People (OYP) ministers to young people aged 16 to 35 to raise up a generation passionately in love with Jesus and His Church, committed to a lifestyle of discipleship and mission.



The Clergy Welfare and Retirement Fund cares for our clergy into their retirement. It provides for their living, welfare and medical expenses, including the operating cost of Bethany East Clergy Residence.






The upcoming Catholic Hub aims to spread the message of God’s love and to call forth greater communion to build a vibrant, evangelising and missionary Church. Envisioned as our Archdiocesan spiritual oasis, the Hub provides a space for the faithful to be nurtured and strengthened in their faith.
