The GIFT (Giving in Faith and Thankfulness) campaign, launched in Advent 2016, continues to rally the Catholic community to support the Archdiocese’s pastoral vision of a more vibrant, evangelising, and missionary Church.

From April to June 2025, a total of $3.39 million was raised through the GIFT (Giving in Faith & Thankfulness) programme. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all donors whose generosity continues to support the Archdiocese’s mission.
Your contributions enable the ongoing work of Archdiocesan organisations and offices in youth ministry, evangelisation, catechesis, leadership development, digital initiatives, and the support of clergy welfare and infrastructure.
This quarter’s total reflects a decline of $0.78 million from the first quarter of 2025, due mainly to fewer one-time gifts. In January, parish-based contributions had been directed toward the Catholic Hub building project, which had lifted Q1 total for restricted funds. In contrast, Q2 saw a return to more typical levels of giving. The number of monthly pledges also dipped slightly, from 4,062 in Q1 to 4,015 in Q2.
Clearly, monthly pledges remain the most stable and effective way to support the Church’s long-term mission. They provide the steady funding needed to plan ahead confidently.
We invite every Catholic to prayerfully consider starting a monthly pledge. Let us give in faith and thankfulness, building the Church today for a stronger tomorrow.
