Giving in Faith and Thankfulness (GIFT) Quarter 1 2025 Progress Report - 1 January - 31 March

To support the Archdiocese of Singapore’s pastoral vision of building a more vibrant, evangelising and missionary Church, the GIFT campaign was launched in Advent 2016. This report provides updates on its progress in the first quarter of 2025.

Total Contributions: $4.17 Million Raised

We are deeply grateful for the generosity of all who gave in support of our Archdiocese’s mission and initiatives in the areas of youth, evangelisation, catechesis, leadership and digitalisation. A total of $4.17m was raised in Quarter 1 2025 – a 15% increase from the same period in 2024. This growth was primarily driven by ad hoc donations, which almost doubled to $1.72m, up from $0.89m in Quarter 1 2024.

Special Appeal for the Catholic Hub

Slated for completion in end-2026, the Catholic Hub will be a space for forming disciples, building community and empowering mission. In January 2025, we launched a special appeal for the Catholic Hub’s building fund. We are pleased to share that $0.77m in contributions have been received for this purpose. Regular Giving: Sustaining the Mission

While the number of active GIFT pledges dipped slightly to 4,062 from Quarter 1 2024, pledge contributions rose modestly to $1.11m, showing continued faithfulness among committed givers. If you have yet to pledge, please consider doing so. Your regular support is vital to the Church’s long-term mission. No amount is too small. Together, we can build a Church that proclaims Christ more fully and boldly.
