“In the Church there is a diversity of ministry but a oneness of mission”, Pope Paul VI wrote in his 1965 decree, Apostolicam Actuositatem. The Archdiocese of Singapore is no different, consisting of over a hundred Catholic groups, commissions, councils, offices, institutes, and other organisations.
While each organisation serves a specific ministry and purpose, they are also guided by a common vision. With the pastoral vision, there has been greater focus on joint sessions and meetings to align strategies, set common priorities and achieve synergies.
The various parts of the archdiocese can be segmented by their functions:
- Catholic Education
- Communities of Faith
- Family Groups
- Formation of Laity
- Social Mission
